Conjugation of mať and nemať

How we conjugate the werb mať and nemať ? In this article it will explained and I give some examples in sentences as well.

Mať  – have

ja mám   I have                          my máme   we have

ty máš    you have                         vy máte    you have

on má     he has                           oni majú      they have

ona má    she has                          ony majú

ono má    it has

Examples in sentences:

Ja mám dva psy.  I have two dogs.

Máš auto ? Do you have a car?

Má problémy . He has problems.

Má dvoch priateľov. She has two friends.

Máme veľa detí.   We have many children.

Máte päť eur vo vrecku. You have five euros in your pocket.

Majú jednu dcéru. They have one daughter.

Negation:

Ja nemám.            my nemáme

Ty nemáš               vy nemáte

On nemá                oni nemajú

Ona nemá              ony nemajú

Ono nemá

Examples:

Ja nemám auto. Nemám všetko. On nemá čas. Nemáme hovoriť. Nemáte  sa zle. Nemajú peniaze.
