The meaning of nouns can be altered by means of the prefixes: Proti- : protiklad ( contrast ), protiútok ( counter – attack ), protiváha ( counter- weight ) Medzi- : medziposchodie ( mezzanine ), medzivládie (interrregnum) Ná-: nálet ( air- raid ), nácvik ( drill ), nález ( find ) Nad-: nadčlovek ( superman), nadpis ( title ), nadporučík ( lieutentant ), nadvýroba (
